About Us
We are committed to learning, teaching, and promoting the benefits of massage therapy.
We look forward to sharing what we've learned with you, and to learning more from you.

Celia
I graduated from the Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy in 2002. My continuing education  has focused on learning what contributes to  common pain complaints, methods for reducing pain and improving movement, and the research supporting both. I integrate condition-specific and relaxation techniques, to varying degrees, according to your goals, tolerance, and improvements over time. I've taught in entry-level massage therapy schools and continuing education programs. I wrote Condition Specific Massage Therapy for massage therapists interested in learning to apply basic techniques to address the specific symptoms of conditions such as headaches, neck, shoulder, low back, hip and knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, sprains, muscle strain and tendinitis. The book is used in Massage Therapy schools across the country and is available in Japanese and Korean. I am honored to have received the 2010 AMTA-IL Distinguished Service Award and the 2012 AMTA-IL Meritorious Award.
Michelle
I graduated from the Soma Institute in 2015 and have pursued advanced training in neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage. I integrate general relaxation and detailed clinical techniques, exploring tissues to find sources of discomfort and restricted range of motion, so I can help reduce the frequency and intensity of your symptoms. I plan treatment for each individual client according to your specific goals, challenging myself to learn new approaches to addressing common complaints. I believe your muscles tell a story and as a massage therapist I am ready to listen.
